Special edition of 25 unframed signed and numbered Giclée prints on Hahnemüle Photorag paper, 24.63 x 16.76 cm. The hawthorn is a native tree to Ireland and much of Europe. It is associated with the fairy folk and summer solstice. In autumn it produces red haws and sometimes, even after the trees leaves have fallen, a few red berries can remain. Ursa Major, or sometimes known as the Plough, hangs on the branches. The drawing was made in pencil with acrylic paint.
It is best to get prints framed professionally as it will prolong its life and it will remain archival. As with all artwork, do not hang in direct sunlight as it may fade over time.
