Back of Card:
“The land knows you, even when you are lost. Knowing that you love the earth changes you, activates you to defend and protect and celebrate. But when you feel that the earth loves you in return, that feeling transforms the relationship from a one-way street into a sacred bond. Even a wounded world is feeding us.” Robin Wall Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass.
Description:
The illustration depicts a woman lost in her work, gathering herbs that she has carefully grown. All around her the vegetables and flowers are in mid-summer fullness. Bats take to the sky in pursuit of flying insects illuminated by the moon in a blue mid-summer sky. The illustration is intended to remind us of our interconnectedness to all living beings… plants, animals, insects and the Earth itself.
The card is 140 x 140 mm, printed on recycled card in Dublin and comes with a craft brown envelope also made from recycled paper.
